Warwick Folk Festival 2019

  • 09, August

Sunday 11th August.,

Every year in August, the Classic Car Show comes to Warwick and has grown to be a popular attraction on the list of Warwick's annual events to come to town. If you are a car enthusiast, then this is a must-see event and takes place in and around the Town’s historic Market Square, with something to see for all the family. There will be around 200 pre 1990s classic and retro cars to see and you can also relax and enjoy all the shops, pubs, cafes and museums nearby, so a great day out can be had for all.

The Classic cars expected to be on display range from Minis to the Model T Ford, as well as a selection of American cars and some vintage English classics.

The show itself is where you can chat to some of the car owners and find out a little bit more about the cars of a bygone age, so adding to the friendly atmosphere that comes with this event. It all kicks off on the Sunday morning, from 9am onwards and it is free to come along for both the visitors and exhibitors. There is no pre-booking required to display the classic cars, you just need to come along and park up as per marshals' instructions.

Warwick Court Leet are the organisers for this show and Alan Lettis said: “We are hoping for fine weather which will encourage participants to turn out with their beautiful vintage vehicles for all to enjoy.

“Traditionally the Warwick Court Leet Classic Car Show has been a very well supported event and so the advice is if you wish to show your car, get there early to ensure your place.”

You can start off in our bar and restaurant and then head off to enjoy and see what cars are on display this year. For contact details please go the EnjoyWarwick website.
